nother bird perches on cage for some foreground bird-age, and I’ve added the hand.  I’m hoping that’s a natural enough pose for “clinging to cage bars” Hands are so much fun to draw.  Sometimes I sit and gaze at my own for a little while. Is contemplating your thumb more productive than contemplating your navel?

The hearts of birds free and otherwise have been added and I’m pretty much happy with the iron. Some of what I did will be hidden by the hands but I don’t care because having created the thing in it’s entirety is something I cannot regret.  String/shoelaces have begun to make their appearances as expected [...]

My grandmother had a wrought iron wall piece for hanging pots and pans, that has very much inspired the way I’m rendering this. Starting to come together, I think.
