Working on completing the artery and vein strings. The bulk of the detail left for this stage of the work is in the string wrapped around the right hand. After that it’s time for color.

I decided she should be clothed, because clothes are fun to draw. The iron ring that is the “heart” seemed like it would make an interesting element in her dress, and kind of meld her clothes with the string and vascular system, even though it’s kind of an unlikely element.

I love The Daily Dairy. Read it. It’s my 100% favorite blog and I’ve been reading it for like months and months.

I have been missing for two days! or three. Something like that. Why? Well for those of you who don’t know, I work on Second Life and create clothing and accessories for avatars and sell them to make a living. Moth part 13, nighttime shadows

I liked the nighttime in the end so I started re-adjusting the lighting to suit it. The shadow was too delicious. The hair still needs work, its a shame I shaded it before the rest of it. It’s like 5:45 am my time. Art and sleep do not go together well.

Moth, Part 12 Shadow

Experimenting with color for the background. The pale browns and tans are kind of desert like to me, which doesn’t go with moths. This, with the night theme, doesn’t quite look right to me and doesn’t go with the spring theme that I’m working for for the Albero fair. White bubbles in the top left corner are probably going to change a lot or disappear before this process is over.
