Flag girl color continued
At some point in the process on every image I create I check “Sample All Layers” on blur and smudge and I don’t look back. Everything from this point on is additive and worked on one layer. This is where it starts to feel like painting.

Moth part 18, refining the face
Still deciding on the hair but I think I will keep it white, which means redoing the texture and shadow for the most part. I lightened her skin which helps the whole composition and she starts to be as ghostly and fairy like as the moths. There’s still a lot of work to be done [...]

In addition to cleaning up the moths a lot I also played with the colors some. I am considering what I have here: her dress is less saturated so that it becomes like the earth and her hair is white so that she becomes another moth herself. It makes her indistinct except for her skin, [...]
