book binding.

I have spent such a long time doing 3d  and 2d representations of things that I’ve been feeling nostalgic for a time when I’d make things. Thing things. Things I could touch and things that had weight. You know, things.

It’s been a while… a really long while.. since I’ve done book binding so excuse the messiness of this first test. I don’t have any fancy materials so I used some thread, staples, masking tape, cardboard box flaps, a paper bag,  and one of those “plain writing tablets” full of paper from the grocery store. It’s like the crayon smily face of book binding and completely unpretentious but I’m sharing because it was really fun to make.

Next time, I use my friend’s paper cutter.

It looks good! Especially with how MacGuyver you had to go with materials!

Yeah I need some better materials to do it right, like a paper cutter and some rubber cement and stuff.
